Round-the-clock crypto markets and manager monitoring
This post is also available in Persian ←

Round-the-clock markets do not mean uninterrupted access or oversight. Review monitoring cover, deliverable alerts, host outages and open-position handovers within actual scope.
Crypto markets may move outside ordinary working hours, but that does not establish uninterrupted service access or constant manager availability. A managed account needs clear monitoring scope, response responsibility and arrangements for absence. A twenty-four-hour monitoring claim requires definitions and evidence.
Separate observation from ability to act
Seeing prices, receiving alerts, holding authority and being able to submit instructions are different capabilities. Monitoring may function while a host or connection prevents action. An alert recipient may also lack contractual authority to alter positions. Define access and responsibility for each role; unlimited authority is not the default solution.
Identify what requires observation
Price charts are not the only concern. Margin, collateral, pending orders, connection health, stale data and host events may matter. Actual scope depends on the method and instruments. Silence from alerts does not establish account health because monitoring itself can fail or rely on old data.
A hypothetical unanswered alert
Suppose a system detects falling margin and sends a message while the recipient is unavailable. A sent record is not evidence of receipt or handling. Define the authorised escalation route if acknowledgement is absent. This example claims no active platform notification or guaranteed response.
Record a monitoring handover
- Responsibility start and end times and an authorised replacement.
- Open positions, pending instructions and unresolved discrepancies.
- Data freshness and host connectivity.
- Active alerts, acknowledgements and ongoing follow-up.
- Authority boundaries and official contact routes for abnormal conditions.
Human time off does not stop the market
Sustainable monitoring cannot assume one person is always awake. If no real team or replacement exists, disclose the coverage limitation honestly. Automated tools also need defined scope and failure behaviour. Leaving software running does not prove continuous operational service.
Include host disruption in the plan
Trading, withdrawals, data access and order management may be interrupted separately. Identify official status sources and how authorised decisions are recorded. Repeated submissions without checking earlier instruction status can create ambiguity. This article provides no outage-trading procedure or loss-prevention promise.
Review evidence while protecting privacy
Timestamped logs, handovers and action records can support review without placing passwords, keys or private personal information in public reports. A shift plan alone does not prove implementation. After an event, examine detection-to-receipt and response intervals with clock precision and data limitations in mind.
In a manager cooperation inquiry, explain actual coverage and response limitations. When browsing trading-account information, do not equate round-the-clock markets with uninterrupted management. This educational framework creates no new service level or operational guarantee.
