Talking to a manager safely: privacy, five questions, red lines
This post is also available in Persian ←

Talking to a manager is a formal request, not joining. This guide covers privacy, withdrawing the request, and the five questions to ask before deciding.
Talking to a manager safely is the most common way to start a management relationship, but it differs from a direct message. The request is created inside the page of an account that is publicly visible at that moment and open to new requests. Those two conditions remove a large share of off-platform fraud, because the other side is an account with a history and a visible state, not an anonymous number in a messenger.
How the request works
On the account page, press “request a conversation with the manager” and enter the approximate amount, duration, preferred contact method and an optional message. Three points matter:
- Privacy: the manager first sees only the amount, duration and your message; your name and contact details appear when the request is opened, and you are notified at that moment.
- Control stays with you: until the manager opens the request, you can withdraw it under My requests.
- Phone contact: verify your mobile number in the profile first if you choose that route.
If the button or form is unavailable, the account may not be public now or may not accept new requests. Do not substitute an old link or an off-platform channel. The full guide is in talking to a manager.
A request is not joining
The request proves no method’s readiness and is neither an order nor a transfer. Any next step must start from the action currently shown on that account page in the trading accounts catalogue. If you want to publish your capital and drawdown terms once so that only managers with current SANJESH authorization send proposals, use Trading Account Investors; that path replaces a request to one account rather than adding to it.
What “Featured · Ad” means
The label means the manager paid for a labelled display slot at the top of a list. Placement can change visibility, but it does not confirm the risk score, the comparison result, or the account’s quality and performance. Check the data source and period, the audit report and the account’s own terms separately.
Five questions for the first conversation
- Which of the eight traditional or proprietary methods is proposed for exactly this account, is that method ready on the account page right now, and what is the historic maximum drawdown?
- Is the performance fee calculated on the account’s previous high-water mark?
- At which broker is the capital held, who controls withdrawals, and how is my share recorded?
- How do I see the periodic report?
- What happens if I withdraw or end the cooperation?
Red flags
- A request for the main broker password or sign-in code; enter the investor password only in the official, secure data-connection form, never for a manager;
- A request to transfer money to the manager’s personal account;
- A promise of fixed or guaranteed profit.
If any appears, stop the conversation and report it to support.
Broker bounties: manager income, not investor income
Some brokers run partnership programmes for account managers introduced by PAMM Iran. The manager requests an introduction under bounties, and if the account qualifies under the broker’s terms, the broker pays the introduction reward to PAMM Iran; the manager’s share is paid from what is actually collected, not from an expected amount. The introduction has no effect on account rank or visibility, and the manager is not obliged to stay with that broker. The details are in the bounty guide, with the general cashback rules under broker cashback.
Frequently asked questions
Does the manager see my name before accepting?
No. First the amount, duration and message; name and contact details appear when the request is opened.
Does a conversation create an obligation?
No. Until an action is completed through the official account-page path, no obligation exists.
What if the manager asks for my password?
Stop and report it; no current PAMM Iran method accepts handing an account password to a manager.
The bottom line
Talking to a manager is safe when it runs through the official path, with clear privacy and the right questions. Submit the request, keep control until it is opened, ask the five questions, and treat any request for a password or a personal transfer as a red line.
