Diversification from zero: stop being a single point
This post is also available in Persian ←

All capital on one manager, one method, one symbol makes you a single point of failure; diversification makes single failures survivable.
Diversification means not letting one event decide your whole plan. It is simple — yet most investors learn it only after the incident.
Three levels of diversification
- Manager: more than one manager; with different styles, not copies.
- Method: PAMM, GAMM, DAMM, baskets — different logics, different timings.
- Time: staggered entries instead of all at once.
The PAMM Iran tools
SAMM places several managers on one account with isolated slices, and smart baskets suggest weighted account layouts. Remember diversification spreads risk, it does not erase it — compare accounts with the compare tool.
Frequently asked questions
How many managers make “diversification”? There is no magic number; three managers of the same style are not diversification. Spread styles, methods and timings.
Does diversifying mean smaller profits? It means a gentler total-result swing; in good periods maybe less than the single winning bet, in bad periods far better.
Does the smart basket create diversification itself? The basket suggests a layout; executing the diversification is your decision and choice.
How many managers or methods make “real” diversification? The count does not matter; the correlation does. Five managers on one strategy are not diversified; two managers on two different logics are. The test of diversification is dissimilar behaviour under identical conditions: when market news hits, their steps should not all point the same way.
