A staged MAM connection test without unintended risk
This post is also available in Persian ←

Start MAM connection testing with specification checks and a non-live environment. Define acceptance, stop criteria and discrepancy records first; connectivity does not guarantee execution.
A successful MAM connection message covers only part of the review. Communication may work while symbols, allocation ratios or subaccount permissions conflict with the intended arrangement. Staged testing should reveal these mismatches before reliance on live execution. The aim is to avoid unintended risk increases, not claim elimination of every connection risk.
Reconcile specifications before instructions
Compare account type, base currency, contract size, symbol name and quantity increment. Identify the manager’s permissions and which restrictions the host enforces. Matching symbol names or displayed quantities alone does not establish equal exposure. Missing information should prevent a definitive conclusion, not be treated as a zero value.
Separate non-live testing from real accounts
Where supported by the host, begin in an environment that does not involve real capital. Confirm the connection destination and environment identifier beforehand. Demo success does not establish identical liquidity, costs or margin behaviour in production. This article does not ask readers to deposit money for testing.
A hypothetical detectable mismatch
Suppose a theoretical allocation produces 0.005 units while the subaccount increment is 0.01. Specification review should establish whether the system rejects, skips or rounds the instruction. A green connection indicator does not answer that question. Record expected outcomes and evidence of actual behaviour. This example instructs no live order and proposes no suitable trade size.
Define acceptance before observing results
- The intended account and environment respond.
- Symbols and quantities match allocation rules and subaccount constraints.
- Rejected or omitted instructions are clearly reported.
- Instruction identifiers and times reconcile with corresponding execution.
- The stop route and discrepancy-response responsibility are known.
Examine one difference at a time
Changing several settings together obscures the cause of a discrepancy. Preserve configuration versions and stage results, and do not advance with an unresolved mismatch. Samples should not cover success only. Rejection, missing permissions and disconnection should also be examined in a controlled non-live environment where host tools support those tests.
Disconnecting does not stop every effect
Define in advance what happens to pending instructions and earlier positions after disconnection. Do not compensate for unknown status by reconnecting and repeatedly sending instructions. Duplicate-execution risk needs examination. Automated retries without understanding the previous state can create another discrepancy.
A live stage needs separate authorisation
A non-live report should disclose limitations and create no automatic trading authority. A live stage requires an independent decision and controls by authorised parties. Managers can describe testing without passwords in a cooperation inquiry. In account information, distinguish review scope from promises of error-free execution. This framework does not claim an active MAM testing facility in the product.
