SEPAR: equity monitoring and the hedge brake
This post is also available in Persian ←

SEPAR is a standalone MetaTrader tool that watches your equity limits and can send a market hedge request — with its real limits.
SEPAR is a standalone module for MetaTrader 4 and 5 that does one specific job: continuous monitoring of the equity limits you set yourself.
What it does
When your configured conditions are met — for example equity crossing a defined limit — SEPAR can send a reverse (hedge) market order request for the current chart symbol. A fired hedge alerts you inside MetaTrader and shows a Trading Emergency recovery link; joining it is optional.
What it does not do
- A hedge does not erase an existing loss; it only closes the path forward.
- Order execution depends on your broker; there is no execution guarantee.
- SEPAR is not a “guaranteed stop-loss”; it is a monitoring and request tool.

Frequently asked questions
Which symbol does SEPAR hedge? The symbol of the chart the expert is attached to — not every symbol in the account.
Do I install it myself? Yes; SEPAR is a standalone tool you install and configure on MetaTrader yourself. A step-by-step guide is in the help centre.
Is the hedge automatic or confirmed? The hedge request follows your settings; you decide in the configuration whether it fires automatically or with confirmation.
Does SEPAR always execute the stop? SEPAR is the tool that submits the hedge request per your settings; final execution, like any order, depends on broker and market conditions — distance, slippage, execution time. That is why the stop-hedge must be seen as a protective layer beside risk management, not a price guarantee.
Next step
For choosing the right limits read “Setting SEPAR limits” in this category, and follow the full installation and settings guide.
A SEPAR working checklist
- Install the tool on that symbol’s chart
- Derive equity limits from your own loss tolerance
- Choose the hedge request type (automatic/confirmed)
- After it fires: take the alert seriously, not emotionally
