What is SEPAR? What does a hedge request do? Calculation baselines in the current EA After a hedge event Important limitsWhat is SEPAR?
SEPAR is a standalone MetaTrader tool that checks account equity against limits configured by the user. It does not depend on having an account-manager role or investing with a manager; an independent trader can use the SEPAR workspace.
What does a hedge request do?
If a configured trigger is reached, the EA may submit an opposite market-order request for the net position on the current chart symbol. This is not a pending order placed in advance. The result depends on account type, margin, broker rules, price and terminal connectivity; the order may be rejected, delayed or executed differently. A hedge does not erase floating loss, create a loss cap or guarantee that the account stays open.
The web form does not push settings into MetaTrader. The source file must be configured manually for MT4 or MT5 and compiled in MetaEditor; follow the setup on the SEPAR page. Check broker and account compatibility first.
Calculation baselines in the current EA
- The daily baseline is kept in that terminal’s global variables for the Tehran calendar day. If no same-day baseline is stored, the greater of balance and equity when the EA starts or the day changes becomes the baseline.
- The total-drawdown baseline is the highest equity the EA has observed and retained in terminal global variables.
- If terminal variables are deleted, the account, server or SEPAR key changes, or the EA first starts in the middle of a period, these baselines may differ from the broker’s or a prop firm’s baseline. Matching percentages alone do not prove compatibility.
Before compiling, read the logic and technical trigger floors in the current source version; for a challenge account, also review Prop Shield.
After a hedge event
If MT4 or MT5 reports that the trade server accepted a hedge request, read the EA’s notice carefully and do not panic-close all positions. A hedge does not remove the loss; review the positions and your account rules. You may manage the trades yourself or, if useful, request an optional review through Trading Emergency. The request is optional and does not guarantee recovery or a return of losses.
A signed EA report can update the shield status and the last reported balance and equity in the platform. Even a “hedge locked” status does not open a Trading Emergency case automatically; a case is created only when you submit one yourself.
Important limits
- SEPAR can submit a trade request; it is not insurance or a guarantee of execution.
- An opposite order may add margin, spread, commission or swap costs.
- An EA report records the reported state; PAMM Iran does not control your broker account.
- A SEPAR checkbox in a connection form records your preference only; it does not install or configure the EA.
For the difference between a preference and activation, read module status and preferences.
