The difference between a referral and personal investment advice
This post is also available in Persian ←

Introducing a route differs from telling someone an account suits them. Clarify your role, compensation and information limits without promises or unsupported personal recommendations.
A partner can introduce a user to an account-review process without deciding how that person should invest. “Read the account information here” and “this account is suitable for your circumstances” do not carry the same meaning or responsibility. Clarifying the role reduces misunderstandings and supports more trustworthy cooperation.
What can an introduction communicate?
An introducer can identify information sources, explain the stated management method and terms, and show where questions can be asked. Every claim still needs to match the available information. Personal confidence cannot replace a missing record. If something is unknown or has not been reviewed, that limitation should be communicated.
When does the message become more personal?
Telling someone which account to choose or how much to contribute based on income, debts, age or objectives moves beyond simply pointing out an information route. Adding “this is not advice” does not automatically change the substance of the preceding message. Legal classifications and licensing requirements depend on jurisdiction and service and require a separate review.
A hypothetical conversation
A user says they need their money in a few months and asks whether to place all of it in an account. A responsible response is not to promise profits by that date or select an amount for them. The introducer can highlight withdrawal terms, possible losses and the need to assess personal circumstances, then direct the user toward reliable information or a qualified professional.
Explain financial interests before the decision
If referrals or user activity generate compensation, explain the relationship and what triggers the benefit in understandable terms. Commission does not establish account quality or personal suitability. A user should be able to read the message without mistaking paid promotion for independent evaluation.
Which information is unnecessary?
A general introduction normally does not require login passwords, two-factor codes, private keys or withdrawal access. Do not request sensitive financial or identity data merely to persuade someone. If an authorized process genuinely requires information, its purpose, permitted use and secure intake route should be clear. Scattered private messages are not a substitute for that process.
A checklist before sending a message
- Have I accurately stated my role, rather than presenting myself as an account certifier?
- Are the source and date of important information clear?
- Is referral compensation explained before the user decides?
- Does the message avoid hiding possible losses or withdrawal restrictions?
- Have I avoided guarantees, universal-suitability claims and certain-profit language?
- Can the user ask questions or decline without artificial time pressure?
Professional cooperation without selling trust
Use the introducer cooperation inquiry to explain the proposed role and relationship. Refer readers to account information and management methods, not to a ranking or endorsement that does not exist. Advertising payment must not replace evidence, review or an assessment of a person’s needs.
This is an educational communication guide, not a legal determination for every country. Specialist services and individual recommendations require consideration of applicable professional and legal requirements. A sound introduction gives the user room to investigate; it does not decide what to do with their capital.
