Close trading account safely: the right exit and settlement order
This post is also available in Persian ←

Closing a trading account is not deleting a profile. This guide sets the order: end relationships, settle the wallet, deactivate, then delete.
Deciding to close trading account safely is not the hard part; the order of operations is. Delete before settling and you lose the cooling-off window; leave relationships open and the final withdrawal stays pending; hide the profile and you may believe the account is closed while it is still open. This guide sets out the safe exit sequence so closing an account does not turn into a drawn-out struggle.
Close relationships before the account
Start with your relationship states under joined accounts. Every row in “in progress” has one remaining step: accepting terms, a fee amendment, or a settlement confirmation. For each active relationship, follow that method’s exit path: period settlement for proprietary methods, or coordination with the manager and broker for traditional ones. While an active relationship remains, full deletion is normally blocked.
Settle the wallet and open orders
Four items must be settled before deletion, and the page tells you exactly which one remains:
- Wallet balance: withdraw or spend it;
- An open currency-conversion order: complete or cancel it;
- A top-up awaiting confirmation: resolve it;
- An unpaid settlement or withdrawal request: get a clear outcome.
If a withdrawal is in progress, keep its receipt and verify authenticity on the treasury receipt page. To review monthly movements and confirm nothing was left behind, open the monthly statement.
Deactivation: the lighter option
If you only need distance from the platform for a while, deletion is unnecessary. Deactivating under account and deletion ends all sessions, stops non-security messages and hides the public manager page, while data, records, cards and subscriptions remain. To return, sign in and press “reactivate account”. You can also ask for automatic deactivation after 3, 6 or 12 months without a sign-in; a notice arrives days before, and one sign-in restarts the count.
Deletion and the cooling-off period
Deletion happens on the same page with password confirmation. After the request, a cooling-off period is shown (14 days by default) during which you can press “cancel deletion”. At the end, name, email, phone and sign-in are erased and the account cannot be restored. If you only need a new email or phone number, do not delete; use the contacts section.
What is retained after deletion?
Under anti-money-laundering rules, financial records and identity documents are retained encrypted for the legal retention period and are never shown on any page. Your national ID is released and does not block a new account. The details are in the deactivation and deletion guide.
The broker account is separate
Closing your PAMM Iran user account does not close your trading account at the broker or exchange. Trading capital sits with that institution and closure follows its contract. Before closing the broker account, confirm that the management relationship has ended and final settlement is complete. The withdrawal and exit path for each method is in the withdrawals and exit guide.
Frequently asked questions
Can I delete while a relationship is active?
Full deletion normally waits until the relationship is settled and obligations end. The deletion page states exactly what remains.
Can I register again with the same email after deletion?
After final deletion, email and phone are released and a new account is possible; prior records are not transferred.
What does deactivation do to relationships?
Operational relationships are not hidden by deactivation and must be resolved separately.
The bottom line
Closing a trading account has an order: end relationships, settle the wallet and orders, choose between deactivation and deletion, then use the cooling-off period. Following it means no pending withdrawal and no irreversible decision taken too early. If you are unsure, temporary deactivation is the lighter option that keeps the door open.
