Smart Basket Methodology and Terms
Version 1.0 — In force since 2026-09-27
This document explains how PAMM Iran smart baskets are built, calculated and displayed, and their limitations.
1. What a smart basket is
• A smart basket is a weighted combination of several trading accounts published on PAMM Iran, selected by the PAMM Iran team according to the methodology stated on that basket’s page.
• A basket is a model, not a fund or pooled account. PAMM Iran never receives or holds money for a basket; investing happens only directly in each constituent account under that account’s own terms.
• Including an account in a basket is not investment advice or a guarantee of its performance, and no account manager pays to be included.
2. How the combined performance is calculated
• The combined performance is hypothetical: each account’s monthly return is multiplied by its weight and summed, assuming the mix is reset to the stated weights at the start of every month. Fees, transfer costs, entry timing differences and taxes are not included.
• Only months for which every constituent has published data are calculated. If the data of even one account is not published, fresh or computable, no combined performance is shown.
• If any constituent’s data is “declared”, the whole combined performance carries the same “declared” label and is never presented as live data.
• The combined performance applies the basket’s current mix to the accounts’ past, so it is a backtest, not a real record of investing in the basket.
3. Changes to the mix
• Every change to the accounts or weights is published as a new version with a date and a reason, and the full version history stays on the public basket page.
• Basket followers are notified after every change. PAMM Iran never moves your money automatically; any action is your own decision.
• If an account is suspended or delisted, the basket is shown with a warning until a corrected version is published.
4. Risk
• Investing in trading accounts carries the risk of losing part or all of your capital. Past performance, especially hypothetical performance, does not guarantee future results.
• A basket’s risk label is the PAMM Iran team’s reading of the mix and does not replace reviewing each account’s terms, fees and risk.
5. Suggested amount split
• The amount-split tool only shows each account’s share according to the weights. Check each account’s minimum capital, fees and acceptance terms on its own page before acting.
