SEPAR — CHALLENGE ACCOUNT CONFIGURATION
Prop Shield — Separ set up for prop challenges
Prop Shield is a configuration of the existing SEPAR EA, not a new execution engine. You choose limits from your firm’s current rules; the EA monitors equity in your terminal and may request an opposite market order for the current chart symbol.
Before using it on a challenge
- Check whether the firm allows EAs and opposite positions, and how it calculates daily loss, total drawdown and the daily reset timezone. SEPAR’s local equity baseline is not necessarily the firm’s baseline.
- Record InpDailyLossPct, InpTotalDdPct and InpHedgeBufferPct. The safety buffer must be smaller than the daily limit. The EA applies minimum trigger floors; a buffer is not a guarantee of execution before a breach.
- Enter the same values manually in the downloaded MT4/MT5 source, compile in MetaEditor and review the EA inputs. The web form does not remotely configure MetaTrader.
- Test compatibility away from the challenge first. The terminal must remain connected; margin, gaps, slippage and broker restrictions can delay or reject orders. Netting accounts may close or reverse exposure instead of creating a separate hedge.

No guarantee of passing, a fill, loss recovery or protection from disqualification. A reverse order can add spread, commission, swap and margin costs. A hedge does not erase floating loss.
