With copy trading, the trading account is yours, and the broker's or exchange's system automatically repeats the chosen trader's trades on it. Your money never leaves your account, and you can stop copying at any moment.
Copied results may differ from the source
| Topic | Copy trading | PAMM |
|---|---|---|
| Account ownership | You | Your account, linked to the manager's master |
| Stopping | Any moment | At the rollover window |
| Execution price | May differ from the trader's | The same for everyone |
| Risk settings | Usually a multiplier and a stop-loss | Limited |
Stopping is not the same as closing trades
Stopping a follow may only stop new copied instructions and leave open trades on your account. Check what the service does when you stop and what you must decide about existing trades. For PAMM Iran’s software, see the copy-trading guide and stop copying or close positions (Persian).
Account access
For an external service, grant only the permissions it needs. Never give a trading manager withdrawal authority, your broker master password or a sign-in code. If the service requires an API key, check that withdrawal permission is disabled. PAMM Iran’s copy-trading software uses a receiver EA; see the software guide for setup.
Assessing a strategy
Check the source account’s history, data source and freshness, drawdown, fees and stop terms separately. “Declared” is not the same as “verified with live data” or “verified with broker statement”; none guarantees future results. See how to read an account page.
If a connection form offers module choices, selecting one records your preference only; it does not install or activate a module. Read module status and preferences for role-independent personal use and technical status.
Traditional copy trading is not CAMM
This article describes copy trading run by a broker or external service. Direct copying through PAMM Iran's own software is the proprietary CAMM method. An account is offered in the CAMM catalogue only while it holds current Sanjesh authorization for CAMM, its manager's direct sender is active and connected, and the software licence is current. Following starts on that account's own page; the PAMM Iran copy-trading software guide covers sender and receiver setup.
GAMM also uses an internal synchronization mechanism to deliver trades to investor accounts, but that hidden sync strategy is not a public CAMM offer and does not by itself create a CAMM badge, authorization or direct-copy desk. If an account page offers only the host-broker path, the relationship is traditional copy trading; if it offers PAMM Iran's follow path and copy desk, read that account's CAMM terms.
