DAMM: dedicated management, no password handover

How DAMM differs from password-handover dedicated management, where to check account custody, and what to review before starting.

What is DAMM?

DAMM is PAMM Iran’s dedicated mirror-management path. It is designed to run management on an investor’s account without handing the account’s master password to the manager. The DAMM introduction page explains the method itself and its requirements; accounts currently qualified for DAMM are listed in the DAMM trading-accounts catalog. Start from that account’s own catalog page so its manager is already selected in the private request form.

DAMM is not the same as pooled PAMM or MAM, and it does not replace checking your broker’s rules or the agreement. Before submitting a request, read the method introduction, the account page and the request form for access, data source, risk limits, settlement and stopping arrangements.

Before requesting a vault

  • Check who owns the account, which broker holds the funds and who is authorised to trade.
  • Review limits, fees, settlement and how to pause or end the arrangement in the current form and terms; available values may depend on current settings.
  • Do not send a manager your master password, broker-portal credentials or verification codes.
  • If the form offers a preference such as SEPAR, selecting it records your choice only; installation and activation are separate.

SAMM is the multi-manager path. If you find a historical listing under traditional dedicated management, see the status of the old method.

Which accounts appear in the DAMM catalogue?

The account needs a current Sanjesh authorization for DAMM and an active, online technical offer connection. Selecting DAMM in an account form, or holding a CAMM or GAMM authorization, is not enough. If the DAMM authorization or connection freshness ends, the account leaves fresh DAMM offers and requests; previous requests and records remain in the DAMM desk, where their status must be read.

What submitting a request does not activate

The DAMM form records your own account number and server plus requested limits for review; it does not ask for a trading or investor password. Successful submission alone is not account connection, trading permission, mirror execution, a funds transfer or the start of management. Every later stage must appear in the panel with a clear status and accepted terms. If the page shows only states such as awaiting review or needing connection setup, do not treat it as active management.

A manager sees requests attached to their own offer in the same desk according to the active role view. A manager must not bypass DAMM through an off-platform message or by receiving a password.
