The broker's role
The host broker is where the manager's account and yours are opened and where the money is held. In a PAMM, the broker calculates each investor's share, deducts fees and processes withdrawals. That is why the broker's credibility matters as much as the manager's.
What to check
| Criterion | Question |
|---|---|
| Regulation | Which regulator supervises it, and can the licence be verified? |
| Segregated funds | Is client money kept separate from company money? |
| Track record | How long has it operated, and how reliably does it pay withdrawals? |
| PAMM and copy tools | Is its PAMM or copy system transparent, with independent reporting? |
| Deposits and withdrawals | Methods available to users in Iran, and processing times |
| Costs | Spread, commission, swap and withdrawal fees |
